CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) SUPPORT FUND

This Fundraiser is an initiative of Sambhav Foundation. Your donation will help us to provide daily essentials and health kits to homeless, migrants, daily wage workers, and those with inflexible jobs across India.

The Challenge

“This is not just a public health crisis, it is a crisis that will touch every sector” … Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO Director General.

The Coronavirus pandemic is a global devastation not only in terms of Health emergency but also in lines of financial crisis.

In India, the lockdown, quarantine and other measures taken by the government to ensure safety of all have impacted business. Its spread has left businesses around the world counting costs, which has impacted lives of many. Though the brunt is faced by all and the most affected people happen to be the Daily wage workers, Migrant Workers and the section of society belonging to Below Poverty Line (BPL) who are finding it hard to even put food on the plate for the family.

Considering the scale of the disaster, LabourNet has put its foot forward & launched an Emergency Support Fund Campaign to help the weaker section of the society by providing basic essentials for survival such as groceries, and health kits for a month.
